HARMONIOUS
As this style name suggests, the ‘harmony of colour’ was foremost in our minds when designing the plush Harmonious rug style.
The fill-in bands, from a selection of yarns, are used to create a formal stripe. The bands of wool are commonly paired with a matching colour of lustrous yarn. Yarn options for this shiny stripe are art silk, bamboo silk, silk or 66 nylon, all at varying price points and dependant on suitability to the site of rug placement. The coloured bands can be customised to even or uneven widths and the cut pile finish of Harmonious is shorn to 12 mm tuft height.
Harmonious makes a splendid formal rug as well as a carpet for wall-to-wall installation, from high-end retail stores to residential spaces. The rug edges, as with all of our hand-crafted rugs, are neatly finished with a self-edged finish and a slim cotton tape to the back of the rug, ensuring the rug sits flat on any hard flooring.
