New Addition To The CRONZ Team!

We would like to take the opportunity to introduce our new in-house designer and team member to CRONZ to you, Zuzana Chovanova. 

“The best part about my job probably is seeing how the client’s idea translates into a one-of-a-kind product that no else is ever gonna have, with the right use of colour, scale and pattern. Good balance of these design elements is the key, I think.”

Zuzana has always pictured herself working in the creative industry, and when approached by CRONZ after finishing her textile design degree at Massey in Wellington it seemed like a natural progression to her career path and love of textiles - from screen-printing to dying and weaving.

"Designing rugs provides me with an opportunity to project my creative ideas on the blank piece of canvas that comes to life and has its purpose; what's beautiful about this is that they then brighten up somebody’s home," says Zuzana. 

Having spent the last 7 years in Christchurch, with a break for her studies in between, she loves living an environment that provides constant inspiration for her.

“I get inspired by everything around us - from architecture/buildings, surroundings/spaces to feelings and people. One of the strongest sources of inspiration for me though is the world of nature, especially here in New Zealand. This country is so rich on landscape, natural wonders, endemic fauna and flora, and that gives me an infinite source of shapes, structures and patterns."

With Zuzana on board, our ability to turn-around design concepts has increased dramatically, so we are delighted to welcome such an enthusiastic, passionate and customer focused new team member.
