Rectangle and square rugs are great for large spaces. They are the most traditional in terms of the shape. They can still be, however, modern and inventive. We are here to make this true and create the perfect rug just for you.
How are we gonna make your rug exceptional?
Custom Size
Our rugs are not limited to a certain size. You can pick any design and we make it the size you want.
The next question you’d probably ask is - what size of the rug do I need? The general rule is that at least the front legs of each furniture in the room should sit on the rug. If it’s a dining room, it should be able to fit the table and all the chairs (the most common size is 2x3 m). A rectangle rug that is too small can make the room look disjointed. So measure out the area where you would like the rug to be placed and note this down.
Once you know what size you need, you can go in two directions. Either pick a textured rug or go for a custom design where we tuft a pattern onto a standard carpet texture (view our past designer rugs projects below).
Custom Scale
If you decide to go for a patterned rug, we will customise the scale of the design to the chosen size for the best possible result. This way you’ll get a one-off piece instead of a mass-produced rug, controlled to the very last detail.
100% NZ Wool & Premium Materials
Here at CRONZ, we are very passionate about using the New Zealand wool as its unique qualities are well-suited for any rug project. It is durable, easy to care for and comes in a variety of colours. It can also be, as the only fibre in the world, felted which improves its strength, integrity and gives an appealing texture and look.
For those who like a little bit of bling, we can offer art silk and bamboo silk fibres to be combined with wool, for example in different design areas - again fully customisable which fibre we use where and in what colours. We also use 100% spun silk, the most luxurious fibre of all.
Unlimited Selection of Colours
