Eyelet was fabricated from a desire to create a plush dense product for clients seeking a custom coloured carpet. This fine tip definition carpet is produced by using 100% NZ Wool 380/1 tex, which is the best fine wool yarn used in the carpet industry, suited for tufting. The method of tufting enables us to achieve a much heavier weight carpet than traditional ‘off the roll’ carpets. Our most popular product weight is 2.8 kg/square meter. This beautifully tight tufted product features great wearability, bounce, comfort and sophistication suited to any residential home.
The flexibility of customising the colour is a unique benefit of CRONZ Eyelet carpet choice. We will match any specific colour required for wall-to-wall installation, from one small room to a full house lot carpet. While this finish is used extensively as a carpet option, Eyelet is also a very nice neat, clean finish for rugs. A simple carved border or geometric patterns and stripe designs are achievable as the fine yarn gives a clean, crisp transition between colours.
