Kingston
Kingston is one of our very original styles created using the versatile New Zealand felted wool 2500 tex in combination with a high-twist (curly) fine wool yarn in a handsome J tuft finish. The J tuft means the stitch is formed in the shape of the letter J -one end of the stitch is shorter than the other. We love to tuft J stitches as this creates more movement and a substanstial shaggy finish of the rug.
Both felted wool and high-twist wool threads are run together in the same stitch so the stitch is tight and even. You can choose 3 tonal colours or for a bolder option, select 3 completely different & contrasting colours.
The cosy pile length is welcoming and restful and is a charming addition to spaces requiring warmth, texture and colour. This 100% wool rug also naturally insulates against noise.
