Oxford is all about creating unique sophisticated designs by tufting two pile finishes in the rug, cut pile and loop pile. For charming flowing designs or more formal structured shapes, this is the product of choice. The designs are scaled to suit the size of the rug as well as consideration of the room’s aesthetics.
We use New Zealand’s singles wool to create the fine formal cut and loop piles. The cut pile is shorn to a 10-11 mm height, just proud of the loop. We like to choose just one colour for this product. In many shades of colour, there is a significant difference between the colour of the cut ends and the side colour (as in loop pile) and this, combined with the textural difference, shapes your specific design.
Oxford is suitable for commercial spaces as well as many areas of the home.
