The Effusion rug was developed through a series of photographs and water-inspired imagery. Its creation was guided by the intention to mirror the serene yet dynamic essence of water, resulting in a piece that not only complements but enhances its environment. The rug’s colour palette was influenced by deep navy carpet in the vicinity, while skilfully drawing in the hues of the interior to establish a harmonious blend between the rug and its setting. Crafted for durability as much as for design, the Effusion rug is made from 100% New Zealand wool, known for its resilience and softness. With a 12mm pile finish, it offers a luxurious underfoot experience, making it a perfect addition to high-traffic areas. Anticipating the demands of its environment, the rug incorporates a mix of colours in lighter areas. This strategic choice ensures that lighter colours are safeguarded against the wear and tear of heavy foot traffic, maintaining the rug's aesthetic appeal over time.
